Some more of the larger plastic pipe was then part-sliced to make it flexible in one direction and with a lot of trial and trimming glued to the false bottom. The tabs seen here are for the plating to go on later and the longer piece of plastic clipped on is to align the pipe correctly while the epoxy sets.
