Quarters of some smaller diameter tube were glued to the false bottom at the bow - the false bottom being trimmed back to provide a snug fit. The bow-thruster tubes were also extended at this time, by an excess to be trimmed back to correct size later. Ideally I'd like to have moved the thruster tube down and forward too but that would actually have been difficult as it is near the bottom of the 'inside' hull already.
