This caught my eye at a model boat show - it's the "Scale Supporter" which is a kitbashed Aziz kit. I took several closer pictures of it and as well as being an interesting variant it is nicely weathered, which is fairly rare in model boats it seems.

I was intending to name my kit something other than Aziz and paint it other than red anyway (eg. there were two other 'standard' builds at the same show), but this gave me several ideas for varying the actual structure. I particularly like his treatment of the bollards near the stern. I did a lot more research into typical AHTS vessels to see what else might make a nicely different model.
