In the original installation I fitted the shafts, then lined up the motors to them. Now I did not want to rebuild the motor mounts, so needed to align the shafts with the motors. I made a jig that is a snug fit over a 4mm rod (propshaft substitute) at one end and the motor gearbox output shaft at the other, and also the right length to maintain the same distance between motor and inboard end of the propshaft tube.
